Description

Management of the Maintenance Department

Actively participate in Plant and departmental safety programs, promote and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods

Direct and administrate Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance Resources to meet and exceed all safety, health and environmental regulations, and Corporate Group requirements

Lead the preparation of, and insure, the proper administration of the Annual Department routine and Major Maintenance budgets

Continuously evaluate, recommend, and insure that the Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance Resources are sufficient and have the required expertise to successfully accomplish Plant and departmental reliability objectives

Foster the development of effective HR systems and policies for hiring, recognition, growth, and development of employees

Ensure the development of a sound preventative/predictive maintenance program that reduces unplanned shutdowns and ultimately enhances overall Plant profitability and product quality

Assist in the development of, and direct, once developed, the Plant Mechanical Integrity Program

Develop, implement, and insure proper administration of necessary departmental procedures and guidelines as they relate to Reliability and Maintenance Engineering efforts

Periodically evaluate program's effectiveness and modify accordingly to insure optimum reliability/cost benefits are maintained

Continually evaluate methodologies, work practices, etc., to improve equipment integrity, reliability, and reduce Plant production costs

Ensure the development and management of departmental cost savings programs

Evaluate personnel performance levels, as necessary, to provide growth opportunity feedback and competitive compensation levels

Adjust organization structure, as necessary, to accomplish current workloads on a competitive basis

Foster and support strong working relationships at Plant levels with internal and external customers

Achieve compliance with all procedures, standards, specifications, codes, federal and statutory requirements

Continuously improve departmental trust and credibility

Requirements

BS Degree in Engineering 

7 years+ experience in maintenance supervision, reliability, or management
